
The idea for ETNA DULCIS was born from nostalgic summers spent in Sicily, where mornings began with a spoonful of icy granita and warm, fragrant brioche col tuppo—a ritual both simple and sacred.
Granita, traces its origins to Arab rule on the island, when the freezing of fruit mixtures was introduced. Over centuries, Sicilians perfected the art of granita, transforming it into the delicate and flavorful sweet we serve today. Paired with brioche col tuppo, a buttery, soft bread shaped with a little topknot, this duo became the ultimate breakfast indulgence and afternoon delight. What started as a family passion is now a joyful tribute to the beloved volcano, and the rich, timeless taste of Sicily.
